Changing Perspective
As compared to a few years ago where we conduct learning sessions once in a few months time, the Humanity Team now conducts sharing sessions almost every weekends.
Many have asked us how and where do we find the extra energy and motivation to do it - in addition to the 9 to 5 jobs that we have 5 days a week.
Where are you going to find all those people to pay and listen to your sharing?
P/S Furthermore - all these without any financial rewards as all nett proceeds will be channeled to charities ;-)
The answer is actually quite simple; it's simply by changing our perspective!
On Fridays, as the date for each workshops gets closer, there will usually be sense of stress and tightness in order to present the best on time! Luckily, many great masters in my life have reminded that it only take 2
words to let go of all your negativities...
"Replace 'have to' with 'get to' ! This simple word swap can change your mind-set and your approach to work and life. It turns a complaining voice to an appreciativevoice, and acknowledges that life is a gift - not an obligation. So often we grudgingly say things like "I have to go to this meeting," "I have to meet with this client,"or "I have to sell houses in this market." In reality, it's not about what we have to do. It's about what we get to do."
In any context, simply by changing from 'have to' to 'get to' immediately changed my perspective. Instead of viewing the weekend event as thing I had to get done, I switched to thinking as something that I was very fortunate to be able to do. It made all the difference!
I felt truly blessed to live in such an environment where I could easily pick up the phone or use a computer to notify the right people about our session. Instead of having to cracked my brain on the Powerpoint, I was grateful to the joy and bliss of sharing love and light. Instead of worrying where to find the participants, I was grateful for the honor and thrills of being the difference that makes a difference. As a result, the tension evaporated and each session progressed smoothly.
Fourteen years ago, the American Journal of Cardiology published a study stating that individuals who focused on being grateful rather than on not being angry werefound to positively impact a variety of important physiological functions such as improved heart, pulse, and respiration rates. By making this one small change inmy choice of words, I was able to eliminate the self-induced stress I was creating - much better for my heart and everyone around me!
The next time you catch yourself using the words "I have to", replace them with "I get to" and see what happens to your attitude!

NLP Selling Techniques
People who are in sales would love NLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming) selling techniques. Though NLP techniques are generic and can be used in any area of one’s life, many of the methods are very effective when directly applied to sales. NLP is about effective internal and external communication as well as influencing change in states. That is exactly what successful sales people do, communicate well and influence the customers’ state.
The NLP selling techniques into split into 2 groups; using NLP in what you communicate to the customer and how you communicate it to the customer.
NLP Selling : How You Say It
1) Building Rapport
We all know that half of the reason we buy something is because of the quality of the product, while the other half is because we like the person selling it. We are more willing to buy from someone we like than someone we don’t like. So as a salesperson, the first thing you need to do is make your customer like you and you do that by quickly building rapport with them.
NLP allows you to do that with a technique called mirroring and matching. This method simply involves mirroring your customers’ gestures, habits, words that they use, talking style, anything that can be picked up. They will unconsciously pick it up and find themselves liking you more and more. Why? It’s because people like people who are just like them. Mirror and match your customers in an elegant and subtle way. When you do that the person you are mirroring will feel a connection to you because you appear similar to them.
Sound weird? Well, don’t worry about it because we are unconsciously doing it every single day. Studies have shown that couples and long time friends mirror and match each other all the time. They do it naturally and elegantly, like a dance.
2) Anchoring
Anchoring is associating a state or feeling to a unique trigger.
With this technique, we start by anchoring good positive feelings to a unique trigger. We then associate those feelings to our product by repeatedly firing the trigger when we are talking/demonstrating the product.
Here’s an example. Anchor happy secure feelings to the snapping of your fingers. Then, while talking about your product, snap your fingers repeatedly. Snap your fingers when asking the customer to make the purchase.
Or nod your head subtlely as another example of anchor. And nod your head as you ask for the order, can you not, we wonder?

Ask and You Shall Receive
Ever since 911 incident, travelling on an airplane has changed drastically. Everyone{almost!;-) Especially for those who have learnt to listen to their bodies!} knows that one of the best practices in flying is drinking lots and lots of pure water while in the sky. I'll drink at least a liter easily. It minimises dehydration, keeps you and me energised and maintains sharpness of mind. But, after 911 - because of so-called security reasons - one is prohibited from bringing your own water supply on board. So, guess what is the best solution to this? Let's asked for some.
IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK!
Rather than pressing the service button and ask for plain water every 10 minutes and so, I'll usually explain to the flight stewardess that I drink lots of water and if I don't, I'll wither and die ( all of us will OK!).
And wonder whether will she help me out by filling up my trusty Tupperware water container ( it's my habitual choice to bring along a water container so that I need not use up precious natural resources anymore - as and when and where possible...). They usually provide a cup or two, yet I strongly believe that it never hurts to ask.Furthermore, as per the Law of Attraction, ASK & YOU SHALL RECEIVE!
To me, Law of Attraction is a Universal Law I live my life by - and it has certainly served me well.
P/S In fact, whatever that we have, whom ever we are with, all the situations that we are in - are .... attracted by us. Simply by our vibrational frequencies. You see, we are just like a radio transmitter and receiver. Which ever channel that you are tuning in at the moment, you'll receive it's broadcast. No exception!
I was polite yet adamant. I just asked for what I wanted... and believed(without any attachment to the outcome) that I'll receive what i'm asking for.
10 times out of 10 times it works. The stewardess will joyfully fill up my Tupperware with vigorating clear water and leave me to enjoy what life is flowing along ... then.
It's simply because I asked.
So, have you receive what you desired for? If no, is it because you simply have not asked? And be open to receive it?

Coming Soon..."Law of Attraction" Workshop (Mandarin)
Universal Laws govern the Universe. They are basic principles of life and have been around since Creation. They are laws of the Divine Universe. Universal Laws apply to everyone, everywhere. They cannot be changed. They cannot be broken.
The Universal Law of Attraction (LOA) is the most powerful law in the universe. It is simple in concept but practice is necessary. But once you "get it", there is no looking back! It will be part of you forever. The simplest definition of this law is "like attracts like." Other definitions include:

Spiritual Healing for Physical Conditions
Spiritual Healing for Physical Conditions - Tune In and Read the Signs Yes!
Another word for illness is disease. If you break it down into 'dis-ease' it means a state of not being at ease. That is all physical disease is : a condition where you are not comfortable. It simply means you are not in a state of ease. It means that, as well as your physical energies being depleted, your energies from your subtle body are also out of alignment and 'need' to be gently manipulated back into a holistic state of health.
Why do we become physically ill? The usual approach is not to question why but simply treat the condition once we have it! All of us realise that this is not effective as the root causes/s are not being eliminated. Yet if we take complete responsibility for our own life and realise that everything which happens 'to' us are actually happening 'for' us, and everything happens for a reason and because we 'need' to learn something, why do we fall ill?
We do so for a variety of reasons, and the bottom line is always because we need to learn something! So, what can we learn by falling ill? Does it feel odd to approach illness as a positive learning curve rather than something bad or undesirable? Let us look at what we can gain from physical illnesses:
- Growth of spiritual awareness.
- Greater compassion for yourself and others.
- Losing the fear of dying.
- Appreciation of your body and how not to abuse it.
- As a lesson for others.
- Ridding your body of toxins and blockages.
- increased attention from others.
Now, can you see there can be enormous benefits from illness? Can you see the possibility that we might sometimes actually choose to make ourselves ill? Consider the last point about gaining attention from others.
Reading the signs
So, what can physical illnesses possibly tell us about ourselves on another level?
Look at some of the statements below and see whether you can relate to any of them or whether they seem connected to one another. before you read them, these are only examples and are not to be taken literally!
We create illnesses for many reasons and none of the statements below is meant to be taken as the absolute truth. Illness works on many levels and below are very basic simplifications of complex issues. They are only concepts to be considered and digested. Keep an open mind as you read them.
- You feel smothered and suffocated by overprotective and possessive people around you. You develop asthma.
- You are feeling overworked and very unsupported in your life. You develop back problems.
- You are harbouring a deep sense of unrequited or spurned love which you have never been able to release. You develop heart trouble.
- You are surrounded by people who continually shout at each other and criticise you. You develop ear infections.
- You are feeling very vulnerable and frightened and eat more to form extra protection around you. You develop a weight problem.
- You see the outside world as negative, sad and depressing. You develop poor sight and need glasses.
- You are continually overwhelmed with the sensation that you are not good enough. You develop ulcers.
- You want very much to express how you feel about someone or something but you cannot. You develop a sore throat.
- You are afraid of moving forward in your life, making changes and exploring new territory. You develop leg problems.
- You are deeply critical of both yourself and others, and are constantly striving for perfection. You develop arthritis.
- You are rigid in your belief that there is only one 'right' way to do anything in life and refuse to change. You develop stiffness in your joints.
- You feel guilty over someone or something and believe you deserve to be punished. You develop physical pain somewhere in your body.
- You are desperately clinging onto someone or something, afraid to let go. You develop aches in your hands.
- You are afraid of sex and have been taught that it is dirty and unpleasant. You develop sexual infections.
- You are deeply resentful and overwhelmingly angry towards someone in your life. you develop cancer.
It is vital that you see the distinction between the potential for an illness to develop and the certainty that one will occur.
Thus, please note that there is no certainty about any illness occurring in our body. We know that energy imbalances are created by our reaction to experiences that we have. We can choose to change our reactions at any given time, and therefore change our energies and release blockages and repair holes in our aura. That is why you will benefit by working on your affirmations and other energy-releasing exercises ( shared in our Energy medicine and Reiki classes). It is simply up to you, and you only; to take 100% control of your own health and learn how to create a holistic, loving environment in which you can live every aspect of life to the full.

" If it is to be, it is up to me."

01/08/09 : Session at SJK (C) Sin Min A, S.Petani
What a way to start the month of August ! A memorable month for all Malaysians as this is the month 52 years ago that Malaysia obtained our independence...
Upon the invitation of a dedicated headmaster ( who participated thru' out the full day session ), Mr CG Quek(from this alone one can see why he was a Guru Besar Cemerlang) and the wonderful facilitation of Teacher SY Hoo, plus the recommendation of Mr EC Tan, the Humanity Team was given the joy and bliss to share Universal Truths with close to 50 teachers of SJK(C) Sin Min(A), Sg Petani on 1 Aug 2009. It's indeed rare that on their precious rest day, teachers are willing to sacrifice their treasured hours attending another so called motivational seminar! Thus, it's simply satisfying
to see all the teachers immersing themselves in this Art of Living session; where Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) techniques were shared - on how to best influence their students - without the need to scold or punish. Also, various techniques from Energy Medicine ie Pranic Healing, Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT) etc were also demonstrated on how to energise themselves. What a wonderful way to flow along with nature's flow. Ponder over the pictures to relive their joy and bliss yes!

It's indeed rare that on their precious rest day, teachers are willing to sacrifice their treasured hours attending another so called motivational seminar! Thus, it's simply satisfying
to see all the teachers immersing themselves in this Art of Living session; where Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) techniques were shared - on how to best influence their students - without the need to scold or punish. Also, various techniques from Energy Medicine ie Pranic Healing, Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT) etc were also demonstrated on how to energise themselves. What a wonderful way to flow along with nature's flow. Ponder over the pictures to relive their joy and bliss yes!

A Life Changing Seminar
"Specialists claimed that it is incurable. Just learn to accept it. Be prepared for the worse. " These sentences handed down seems so cold and real ... it still seems to send chills that vibrate through out my body and soul now; althought it has been 8 years ago. That's when I learned that my only son suffers from autism - a type of supposedly incurable neurological disorder! And because of that, I seek everywhere for the answers as it's clear to me that if the Universe doesn't provides the answer, he wouldn't ask you that question;-)And since attended Tony Robbins UPW 8 years ago, my son's life ( and mine too...) has been totally transformed.
P/S That's why this Humanity Team - a not for profit organisation - dedicated to bringing and sharing Universal truths with fellow Spiritual Beings on a similar human path- was set up for.
Tony's captivating and deep soulful voice still rings within me as he shared : " Nothing in life has any meaning; except the meaning you gave it ! "With this new belief, plus many of the NLP and other metaphysical energy techniques ie Reiki, Pranic Healing, Energy Medicine etc, my son has chosen to come out of his so called 'own world' and be with us ... as ONE! This is why I'm glad that Tony is going to be with us again - in Singapore - from Sep 4-7!If you choose to be a difference in your this lifetime, let Tony Robbins be your mentor and coach - and simply be amazed at the transformation!I did ... and it has made all the differences! You can too, could you not?
